Having grown tired of screaming at my television, radio and computer I decided to create this blog to offer my voice to the world. While my opinions are certainly biased with a blue and white perspective, I will strive to provide as much documentation as possible to back my points up.
Initially introduced to the Leafs by my father, I have experienced them play in four conference finals but not for the Stanley Cup. Being a fan circa Doug Carpenter and the 1990 team (damn you Sergio Momesso), I am still shocked that the Leafs have lost to the Los Angelas Kings (cried), Vancouver Canucks (cried), Buffalo Sabres (made a fist sized hole in drywall) and Carolina Hurricanes (drank until I cried) in the conference finals. All four of those series were frustratingly there for the taking.
The Leafs are not only a hockey team, but a religion. The blue and white allowed me to establish and maintain a special bond with my father, it has taught me that life is certainly not fair, and it has imparted me with the realization that when a woman will leave you alone to watch the hockey game in peace and silence to put a ring on her finger.
